#31: Birds of Paradise

The Cru's stories this week feature a life of poetry; a misty dance; a meditation on nutmegs; and the call of the void. From Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable: Birds of Paradise are described by old naturalists as being destitute of feet, dwelling ever in the air, wafted about in the bright sunbeams without the mechanism of wings, nourished on dew and the odour of flowers, like houris or the spirits of paradise.  Like this weeks episode and wish you could read as well as listen?
