#31. Comparison: The Impact on Your Well-Being and What To Do Instead with Desiree Stanley

from Pockets of Knowledge · host Pockets of Knowledge

Desiree Stanley is a long-time business owner, serial entrepreneur, and newbie podcaster. She’s dedicated to showcasing the amazing women she knows and meets in order to share knowledge, expertise, and life lessons so that everyone grows. She is a mother of two adult daughters, a wife for 27 years, and a 10+ years runner living near San Jose, California. She received her degree in Psychology but has never used it in the course of her career, although her husband says that she uses it on him all the time. After successfully starting, operating, and selling a startup company, she’s been working in conjunction with her partners in the operation of their business for 11 years. When she’s not making podcasts, you can find her working on daily business items, perusing real estate photos and videos, attempting to post to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Spotify, and YouTube, or in her various other pursuits, including running with her BRFs (best running friends) and walking miles upon miles with Ollie the Beagle (the family's 2-year-old puppy). She’s dedicated to learning and growing as a business owner and as a human and has become passionate about selflessly adding value to the lives of every person she possibly can.
