31 - Don’t Kid Yourself

This is some serious Dad wisdom. Literally. These are the words my Dad said to me over and over again as I was growing up. He didn’t want me to let myself off too easy, especially when I was in control of the outcome of the situation.Forgiving yourself for your mistakes is one thing, but outright lying to yourself isn’t a good thing. True repentance involves coming to terms with your mistake, then taking action to make things right.Talk is cheap, especially when it’s not true.
