31 Funkward

We've got something VERY special for you for episode 31. Our guest selector for Episode 31 is Funkward, from Montreal Canada.  "This is a mix is a culmination of all of my musical knowledge. I've poured hours of digging, editing, remixing, and deleting everything and starting over. It's a blend of old soul, funk, and psychedelic rock mixed with classic breaks and modern examples of how funky and soulful we can be.  The mix is a homage to all of the people behind the music, the people who inspired me to make music in the first place. It's also peppered with random samples that span the ages: from old time radio shows to Arnold Schwarzenegger calling out the CIA in Predator, to Brian Eno waxing philosophic about what this music thing is supposed to be about.
