31 | HALT and Consider the Image of God

Today's episode focuses on the Image of God and how that impacts our identity.   Scripture References: Psalm 86:15--Compassion But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Luke 8:24--Calm The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. Acts 1:7--Curiosity He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. Psalm 71:5--Confidence For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. Joshua 1:9--Courage Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Romans 1:20--Clarity For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. John 1:18--Connected No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. Genesis 1:1--Creative The Beginning In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 5:1  This is the written account of Adam’s family line. When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.
