In this episode Heather and I discuss all things illness/injury and how to come back from it. This podcast was requested a lot by our own clients who had been experiencing illness/injuries which led them to feel like they were taking 10 steps back and were going to lose all their progress. So we wanted to discuss this in more detail to help women overcome this and help them find a way to move forward despite a set back to their health or ability to train. We delve a lot into mindset and looking at what you can control - control the controllables. We also chat about our own experiences with injury/illness, what we went through and how we overcame those more difficult times in life. We hope this podcast helps women to know that they aren't failing and they aren't taking 10 steps back, its' just another hurdle in the road that will ultimately make them stronger. They just need to have the right mindset.
