In the Christian tradition we have the writings of a 16th c. mystic, St. Ignatius, who talked about contemplation as a way of praying either through our thoughts or through our imaginations. Being a contemplative in action is a way to integrate contemplation into our everyday lives where we’re taking moments to pause, to behold, reflect, and then offer that reflection as a prayer.  Learn more about Blue Ocean Church at a2blue.org.
