In which Samantha and Bethanie discuss chapter 20 of Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer.Chapter 20Summary: “Carlisle”In Carlisle’s office, Edward shows Bella paintings and explains Carlisle’s past, including his transformation, struggle with vampirism, and brief time with the Volturi. Edward also reveals his own violent past and the guilt he carries from killing humans while acting as a vigilante. Bella is not disturbed by this, which surprises Edward.
