#31 - River Iris

Phoenix singer songwriter River Iris skillfully fuses a polished pop sound with soulful, confessional songwriting, and pulsing electronic elements that recall Tori Kelly, Halsey, and Alicia Keys. Poetic and simultaneously direct, her songwriting bridges the gap between music as an expression of identity and a form of therapy. Her latest single, Consider Me Confused, was written in Nashville with 2 time #1 hit songwriter Paul Sikes. The song showcases a vulnerability in lyrics and voice that define her sound. River just wrapped up recording her next EP ‘Tactile Hallucinations,’ to be released in 2023.
