31. Scott Peterson

On episode 31, Ashley falls down a rabbit hole researching the disappearance and murder of Laci Peterson and her unborn son, Conner. Laci was reported missing on December 24, 2002 and all signs pointed to her husband, America’s least favorite golf bruh, Scott Peterson. Scott and Laci were viewed as the perfect couple from the outside looking in. Scott’s in-laws saw him more like a son and described him as charming and kind. He appeared to be head over heels in love with Laci. But an unfortunate truth is things aren’t always as they appear and tragedies such as this can really paint a picture on how you can think you know someone but really have no idea.
