Deputy Mubarak speaks eloquently about the American ideals of family, education and hard work. Learn about the history of Afghanistan, his journey supporting the Marines during America's longest war as well as the difficult time his family recently experienced with the Taliban takeover and his family's treacherous, but ultimately safe, journey to the United States.
