She created the Seton Hall University Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, the $16K Pirates Pitch Startup contest, and the Pirates Pitch for High School Students contest, which offers $50K in scholarships and prizes. Most recently, Scherreik launched the Pirates Launch Pad summer accelerator program and Seton Hall’s summer Entrepreneur Boot Camp. She was named a Top 25 Leading Woman Entrepreneur of NJ in 2016. She was a judge in the EY Entrepreneur of Year Comp./NJ for seven years. Scherreik is the founder of UPitchNJ, a statewide business competition that involves 14 NJ universities. Suresh Kumar, Professor of Practice and Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Programs, Ying Wu College of Computing, New Jersey Institute of Technology Suresh is a Deloitte Fast 50 and 5-time INC 500 ranked serial entrepreneur, who is also immersed in academics and policy development in entrepreneurship. He has a doctoral degree in the area of high-growth immigrant entrepreneurship and is an expert in the Lean Startup methodology for scaling startups and in the area building sustainable innovation and economic ecosystem builder. Most recently he served as a member of the Small Business and Entrepreneurship sub-committee of the Joe Biden campaign. Currently, Suresh serves as Professor of innovation and entrepreneurship at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Dale Caldwell, Executive Director, Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Fairleigh Dickinson University Dr. Caldwell is a professor and the executive director of the Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU). He is leading the Institute’s efforts to support, promote and research family, veteran and student entrepreneurship. In addition, Dr. Caldwell is the host of the TV show Family Business World (www.FamilyBusinessWorld.com). His research focus is on entrepreneurship, job creation and public policy. Dr. Caldwell’s professional experience includes being the CEO of the management consulting firm Strategic Influence LLC, senior manager at Deloitte Consulting, founding executive director of the Newark Alliance and deputy commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Anne-Marie Maman, Executive Director, Princeton Entrepreneurship Council, Princeton University Anne-Marie is the Executive Director of Princeton Entrepreneurship Council. PEC works to engage and educate Princeton-connected entrepreneurs of all levels, both on campus and in locations around the world. We focus on collaborative programming, mentoring and funding in a way that educates, engages and inspires. Our portfolio includes multiple conferences, an advisory platform for entrepreneurs seeking guidance, a seed venture fund, alumni/faculty forum, networking sessions, a wetlab/drylab incubator, and educational programming for faculty, grad student and postdocs. PEC also supports Princeton University in its outreach to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. Anne-Marie is an entrepreneur who founded three companies; one improving bedside catheter placements, one detecting early signs of hemorrhagic shock, and the third working in real-time detection of bacteria.
