#31 Tom Cox, the quintessential bass player

from Planetary Gig Talk · host Planetary Gigs Society

Tom Cox was first captivated by the bass as a youngster while watching the bassist in a combo playing in a ship crossing the Pacific Ocean. He was mesmerized by the Beatles in 1964; everything changed for him. Tom says, "Music makes me feel really, really good. Listening to or playing music sure beats going to a psychologist." He says, "Everywhere you go, whenever you hear music, you know people are happy and enjoying themselves. If more people listened to or played music, the world would be a better place."
