#315 Moby Dick 12

Moby Dick 12 Tashtego taught Ahab if he caught a right whale and hung its head also at the bow, Pequod would not sink. Stubb hated Tashtego and vowed to kill him if he had chance. German ship Fungfrau went onboard to borrow some oil to light their lamps. Ahab decided to go through Sunda Straits from Indian Ocean into Pacific Ocean. Black little boy Pip was afraid of water. He was called on to take the place of an injured seaman, Pip jumped into the water and was strapped by harpoon's rope. Stubb saved Pip and warned the boy if it happened again, he would keep the whale instead of him. Later Pip did jump into water again, Stubb did leave him alone in the water. Luckily Pequod saved the boy. When the boy was up the deck, he went mad. Ahab was even more mad now, talking to himself all the time. English whale boat Samual Enderby passed by. Captain Boomer lost one arm because of Moby Dick. Boomer kind-heartedly advised Ahab to leave Moby Dick alone. Ahab was not deterred. -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
