#316 Moby Dick 13

Moby Dick 13 Starbuck asked Ahab to stop sailing and check the leaking of oil barrels. Ahab refused and pointed a gun toward Starbuck. Starbuck warned that Ahab needn't be afraid of him but need to be afraid of himself instead. Ahab reflected a little bit and conceded and let Starbuck check the leaking of barrels. Queequeg got seriously ill working down at the hold of the ship. Q asked for a wooden coffen like the one from his Kokovoko hometown. Q got his wooden coffin carved out only for him and asked people to put him onto the coffin with his harpoon and Yojo like he was dead. Later Q got well and prepared to harpoon like he used to be. Coffin was used as Q's sea chest instead. Ahab had nightmares dreaming of Moby Dick spouting out blood. American whale ship Bachelor passed by. They were celebrating with high spirit. Ahab refused to go onto their ship. Bachelor sailed on. Ahab took out a bottle of sand from Nantucket. Bachelor left some good luck to Pequod. Pequod caught 4 whales the next day. Other boats returned with whales to Pequod except Ahab's whaleboat. Ishmael overheard Ahab and Fedallah's whisperings at dawn on their boat.
