317/365 Part 2 - Blues Kiirtan by Balakrishna from Ivory Coast/Boston

from Jyoshna - From Nothingness To Empowerment · host Jyoshna La Trobe

Balakrishna shares with us his experience of the supra aesthetic science of kiirtan. He talks about folk songs from his indigenous Bete language, and how the symbolism relates very much to his relationship with the Unknown Traveller.  He says that the blues come from slavery and how it expresses pain but that it is offered to the Highest Entity, and therefore there is also hope, and underlying that, there is joy. So beneath the pain there is also joy. I end with a kiirtan of mine from Avarta Kiirtan II album. Click below for more info  https://jyoshnaad5185.clickfunnels.com/sales-pagef4j7tl4c
