319. Matt Musty (Studio Musician)

Matt Musty, current drummer for Train and countless other studio projects, is the guest on this episode of the BREWtally Speaking Podcast. After years of trying to get longtime friend Matt on the show, it finally worked out to where we could sit down for an hour and catch up. You'll hear about our experiences touring with one another in Sun and Flesh on a tour I booked over a decade ago helped expand Matt's drumming styles and appreciating the touring situation he's in now. We also share the story of our Gary Busey tour prank, and how being one of the first bands to complete a tour in a pandemic was to discussing  how being a studio musician and a hired gun for various artists has allowed him to become a more diverse musician, and if any of those skills traverse into his daily interactions with people.
