32 - Brian Sikes Howe

@BrianSikesHowe is the host of Pittsburgh’s most important music podcast @StartTheBeatPodcast a producer and rapper with @NormalCreatures and the frontman of one of the areas biggest metal outfits @Greywalker_pgh now he is paying the bills as a talent manager throwing themed DJ nights around the country with names like @theTaylorParty @MyspaceNite and @theNuMetalParty While he might not be beatmatching, juggling, or scratching, the principles he shares would seem like good advice for any of my DJ friends, and in truth he has found a way to make music his livelihood where many of the purists I’ve interviewed this year (myself included) have not.
