32. Love & Friendship
from VomCom Hosted by Kat and Molly
Welcome to VomCom, the podcast where we talk about the romantic comedies we love to hate and hate to love. This week, we delved into one of our favourite worlds: The Jane Austen Cinematic Universe and we watched Love & Friendship. An odd choice for sure, but we took a gamble and Jane Austen had never steered us wrong before. This 2016 film has almost none of the traditional markers we love from a Jane Austen adaptation: nasty, manipulative women, buffoonish men, and throuples. It was definitely the wildest of rides. We had a lot of fun with this movie, and we hope you have just as much fun listening to it. So thanks for listening to us talk about everything we loved and hated about this film, see ya next time! xo Subscribe to us wherever you get your podcasts!
