#323 Tales of Great Heroes 4
from 克萊兒説文法 · host 老克
Tales of Great Heroes 4 Zeus wished to destroy all mankind. Hermes advised that they sampled two out of three households first. If two of them were good-hearted, maybe humans could still be there in Bronze Age. First Zeus went to Arcadia of Greece. The king was Lycaon, who ate his sons at his whims. Zeus turned him into wolf, and bade him to wander in the forest in the rest of his life. Next Zeus went to Phrygia is Asia. They met Philemon and Baucis, who were poor but very hospitable to strangers. Zeus was so satisfied that he rewarded the couple with a beautiful temple of gold and marble. The humble couple was not greedy at all so Zeus rewarded them with juvenility and bid them do service at the temple to gods. Next Zeus and Hermes went to Thessaly in north of Greece. They met Deucalion and Pyrrha. The pair of humans were what Zeus needs of men. Zeus told Deucalion to bring his own family to the top of mountain and survive the flood Zeus was going to make. Zeus told Deucalion to build a ship. Zeus let it rain for nine days and nights. Deucalion's ship stopped at Apollo's temple at Delphi. The next morning, a voice bade the couple to go down the valley and throw the bones of their mother behind them. Deucalion realized that what Zeus meant was the stones at the valley. The couple threw stones behind them over their shoulders. Soon the river was full of men and women. Zeus declared that after the Bronze Age, now it is the Age of the Heroes. Zeus made mother Earth create animals which he forgot in the creating. Mother Earth made a blunder by creating giants as well as the animals as was told by Zeus. Amongst which was the terrible of the most terribles, the Typhon. -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
