Tales of Great Heroes 5 Typhon was the last of titan. Typhon was so tall that the stars would tangle in his hair, with a hundred heads and tongues like snake's. He has wings grown on his shoulders. Typhon walked from Asia to Greece, causing storms all the way. Typhon wishes to destroy the palace on Olympus and he himself be the ruler of it. All gods fled. Artemis put on head of cat and was called Osiris in Egypt. Demeter put on head of cow and was called Isis in Egypt. Zeus held out Cronos's sickle when Cronos fought with the Sky. Typhon seized the sickle and cut off Zeus's muscles in the arms and legs. Typhon hid Zeus's muscles in his own cave in the valley. Zeus bade Hermes and Pan to call for help from the human Prince Cadman who was wandering among hills and valleys in search of his sister Europa. Hermes disguised Cadman as a shepherd using Pan's sheep and pipes. Cadman's music made by Pan's pipes amused Typhon very much. Cadman cooked up a plan to fool Typhon. Cadman tricked Typhon that he needed some muscles to amend for the harp destroyed by Apollo. Typhon was so bewitched by Cadman's music that he promised to give Cadman the muscles from Zeus. Upon recovering muscles, Zeus soon recovered and returned to defeat Typhon and locked him up forever under the Sicily Island and mount of Etna. Hermes set Cadman's sail on to island of Samothrace. It was princess Harmonia's island. The two fell in love. Zeus wished for Cadman to sail to Delphi and to follow the godly cow to the site for him to built the city of Thebes with seven gates. Cadman did as Zeus said and married Harmonia and lived happily ever after.
