#325 Tales of Great Heroes 6

from 克萊兒説文法 · host 老克

Tales of Great Heroes 6 Zeus was in pursuit of the great human Prometheus talked about who could save all the gods. Zeus started to keep track of all the seven children born by Cadmus and Harmonia. The eldest was a girl called Autonoe. Autonoe's son boasted of his own hunting skill and was thus turned into a deer by Artemis and was killed by his own dogs. The second was a girl called Ino. Ino's husband Athamas had a son Phrixus and a daughter Helle with a goddess. Ino planned to eliiminate both of Athamas's former children. Ino destroyed corn field and framed it on Phrixus. Ino asked that Athamas had to kill Phrixus. Phrixus's mother sent a beautiful ram with a golden fleece to carry Phrixus and Helle across the ocean. Hell fell down into the ocean at Hellespont. Phrixus was carried to Colchis and was safe. The third daughter was lovely Semele. Zeus had a child with her. Hera was so jealous she went to taunt Semele into asking Zeus to appear in his godly appearance. Zeus did and shocked Semele into death at the instant. Zeus took Semele's son and named him Dionysus. Dionysus grew up on Mount Nysa and befriended Silenus and the satyrs. Dionysus learnt to grow grape vines and brew wine. Silenus got so drunk with Dionysus's wine and fell asleep in king Midas's garden. Midas took care of Silenus who generously promised to grant Midas's any wish to come true in return. Midas wished to turn everything he touched into gold. Midas repented but still provoked Apollo who punished Midas by turning his ears into those of donkey's. Dionysus went forth around the world teaching people he met to brew wine from vines. When he reached Greece, some kings didn't want Dionysus to teach people brewing wine. One of the kings chased D into the sea. D was saved by Thetis, the loveliest sea fairy of all, in her underwater cave. Recovering, D hired a ship to go back Thebes. The ship turned up to be pirate ship. The pirate captain wanted to sell handsome Dionysus and wanted to bound him on the ship. The ropes wouldn't bound D and all the sailors were scared and wished for D to go. Captain wouldn't set D free. Upon sailing to Egypt, vines grew up the masts. Wine smells everywhere. Sailors wished to go back Greece. D turned himself into a lion and jumped on sailors. Sailors all went overboard and turned into dolphins. D returned safely to Thebes but was locked in a stone prison for the new kind didn't know who he was. D made vines swelling out of the prison cell and broke it. D's last battle was with King Perseus in the land of Argos. Perseus won over Dionysus. D jumped into the lake of Lerna, which had no bottom and leaded directly to Hades's realm. D spoke to Hades that Zeus wished for him to sit beside him on Olympus with his mother Semele. Hades wished for D's favorite thing on earth as return. D gave Hades grapes. -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
