Candice Care-Unger and Kate Jones are colleagues at Royal Rehab in Sydney, Australia. Working specifically with spinal cord injury patients, Kate did her PhD work on spirituality and rehabilitation. The West Pennant Hills congregation, where Candice pastors, decided to sponsor further research and a program to train hospital staff on implementing spiritual support to those recovering from their injuries.
