He has worked with some of the legends and stars of the genre from Jon Batiste, Dick Hyman, Ken Peplowski and Slide Hampton just to name a few. 2019 is a big year for him as he debuts a new website at aaronmjohnsonjazz.com and prepares for the release of two albums, the first a quartet album produced by Ken Peplowski and the second a live concert album recorded at the Oregon Coast Music Festival.
