33. Ask For What You Want

When it comes to a new career, sometimes our biggest enemy is ourselves. A lot of self-doubt and uncertainty creeps in our minds when we want to make a move. However, asking for what you want is honestly the best way towards a new career. Although it’s simple, it can sometimes be the hardest thing to do through saying it out loud. Therefore, I’m giving simple advice on how to ask for your next career move. Keeping your dreams close to you is definitely the most comfortable, but it doesn’t help you with action. By asking for your next career move, it helps build accountability, encouragement, connections, awareness of what you’re interested in, and provides new opportunities. All of that gets you in the mode of your next step toward your new career.
