When my guest, Crystal E. Ward was a little girl, she vividly remembers accompanying her father to the bank. He would show her the increase to his passbook savings as he made his weekly deposits. She also remembers sitting at the dining room table and watching him faithfully write up his tithe envelope. While she never had an official discussion about money management in her household, these encounters remained etched in her mind and served as the foundation for her skill in managing her personal finances.
