Naturally Damien developed a love of the ocean and a natural tendency to want to protect it. Almost  by accident Damo led a movement to protect our oceans in the "fight for the bight" global surfing protect.Damo ran for state and federal politics, while running a passionate campaign to beat oil giants Equinor in the Great Australian Bight. His latest endeavour is running national campaigns for the Australian Surfrider Foundation.In this episode we talk about battling depression and finding ways to get on top of self doubt.
