33| Does Disclosure of Abuse Bring Closure?

It's one thing to share your story but disclosure is an even bigger step Do you need to share your story with your family?  Or is it necessary to disclose your story with the police to try to stop your perpetrator from harming anyone else? These are important steps but you need to be prepared for what the fallout may happen if you take them. Also it is important to understand your motives for taking these steps. If your motive is to achieve closure than you might be disappointed to try and achieve closure from someone else.
