I found myself out checking cows the other day — Kevin was out of town — and as I watched a group of baby calves play off in the woods, it stirred something in me. It brought back memories of my own childhood, running wild with my friends, always chasing freedom and avoiding rules. But it also made me think about choices… and how those choices shape our lives in ways we don’t always realize.With Easter around the corner, I couldn’t help but reflect on Jesus riding into Jerusalem, knowing full well what was coming — the pain, the misunderstanding, and the sacrifice. I’ve been watching The Chosen and teaching Bible study, and I see it so clearly now: even those closest to Him didn’t always understand what He was trying to say. And if I’m honest, I’ve been there too. I’ve made more than my share of bad choices. But what a gift it is that we’re still invited into grace.This episode is about that invitation — the one God sends out to all of us. It’s not complicated. It’s not filled with rules. It’s just a choice. A choice to believe, to trust, to turn toward Him.
