#33: The Breakfast Club

from Talking Codswallop · host talkingcodswalloppod

Welcome to the first episode of Celluloid Codswallop which is going to be a aired on alternate weeks/ends. This week Gemma and James cover the legendary and cult followed The Breakfast Club.  Synopsis: A diverse group of high schoolers forced to spend detention on a Saturday in the library. Forced to make the best of their circumstances, they learn to understand each other and discover that in spite of their initial differences, they actually share many common feelings and problems. Yes, there are spoilers. This film is 35ish years old. BUT, we won't ruin the film for any first time watchers. I guarantee after listening you'll want and watch the film again/for the first time.  In the coming weeks we will be reviewing many different films with all genres of films, some will be our favourites, but I'm (Gemma) asking, you the listener which are your favourite films? Would you like us to review the film? Send your suggestions to [email protected] or follow @codswalloppod on twitter and post a message on there. :)  That's a wrap folks.
