#33 The Fitness Tech Podcast: Lincoln Marathon Wrap Party

from The Fitness Tech Podcast · host The Fitness Tech Podcast

Jim and Jamie are together again to talk about the ins and the outs of this last weekends Lincoln Marathon. Jamie ran the half and Jim ran the full. Jim gives some helpful and some not so helpful feedback from the race as well as covering the technology around the race. This years race was covered by mtec and they provided a bunch of options for both splits and a video finish. There were tons of examples of clock blocking during the race including some runners who were walking at mile one and the first water station. Jim has some suggestions on how Lincoln could do a better job at the start line. On the positive side, the race is well supported by the community. Food is plentiful right on the course and the crowd was amazing. The race pacers were second to none! Good job pacers! Both of us then spend some time talking about pre race prep. It’s a longer podcast by Fitness Tech Standards! Enjoy You can follow Jim on Twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/jcollison. If you want to contact us here at the show, email us at [email protected].
