Like Pilate who was confronted and wrestled with the very nature of truth, so must we. Is truth relative--something subject to manipulation or modification according to our wants or supposed needs? Or is it an inflexible reality? Jesus, who is our standard to measure and define what truth or reality is, has never changed. He is constant. Only by seeing life through His eyes and according to His perceptions, can we experience a sense of stability that is less and less effected by the mere whims of the unprincipled human heart. ‘You will know the truth--the truth that will set you free.'
