33: Why sharing is the key to service delivery success

from Charity Digital Podcast · host Charity Digital

Every day, charities are providing their vital services to beneficiaries. Providing this excellent service delivery is just one of the many things that charities have in common- so why not share each other's processes? In a collaborative effort, CAST have worked to create just that- service recipes. Service recipes are a free online resource that collects practical examples to help charities learn from one another’s digital services. They aim to reduce the duplication of time, money, and effort within charities- but how well do they really work?  In this podcast episode, we’re joined by Eve Critchley (Digital Innovation Lead at Hestia) who’s charity adopted a service recipe and Fareeha Usman (Founder of Being Woman) who’s charity provided one. Chris Thorpe (Head of Technology at CAST) also joins the conversation to discuss the service recipe initiative, the process, and how this has been working for charities in real-time.
