#33 Zola - DISCOnnect cast

We offer artists that move us a platform to reach you far from the club scene - connected day and night. Z O L A (@zola-1 Berlin | GER) is vinyl lover and radio host and as such part of the @drift-ashore crew. She started playing music around 2007 when she was hosting a small radio show at university. Back then it was CDs only. She moved to Berlin, found inspo and developed her style of music. She now considers herself a rather picky music selector. And as such she is curating for DRIFT ASHORE - a radio show, blog and podcast series. In 2018 she even got her own show on RADIO FRITZ called “Nightflight House”. This woman, simply WOW! She organized “Lucid Dreams”, her own monthly rooftop parties at @Klunkerkranich - the best place in Berlin to spend a sprizzy summer vacay Sunday. Hope we can enjoy this again this year! ☀️ FUN FACTS: - She enjoys silence in the mornings the most. - She likes playing at bars even though often people don’t pay attention. - She has around 65 plants and her eldest is a pilea. - She likes Zolastraße in Berlin, especially because it’s just one block short. For us she’s recorded a multicultil disco summer revival - full of balearic, Latin, Afro and Brazil sounds and Vitamin D.
