Wist je dat onze drugswet al 100 jaar oud is? Het idee is dat we drugshandel én drugsgebruik het beste aanpakken door vraag én aanbod strafbaar te maken. Alleen.... dit blijkt dat niet te werken. De vraag is alleen maar gestegen en ook het aanbod aan drugs is groter dan ooit. Met ook véél drugscriminaliteit errond. Moet dat drugsbeleid dan niet radicaal anders aangepakt worden? Zou het beter zijn om drugs te legaliseren en reguleren? Criminoloog Tom Decorte (UGent) legt de voor- en nadelen naast elkaar.
