As South Sudan moves toward the planned 22 December 2026 elections, leaders from political parties joined Radio Miraya’s Roundtable to debate a crucial question: are the country and its political actors truly ready? In this episode, leaders discuss civic education, voter registration, political space, peace implementation and the path to credible elections. The conversation reflects both hope and concern, but one message stands out: citizens must be informed and engaged if elections are to strengthen democracy and peace in South Sudan.
