335: Getting to Your Step One with Stacie G | Recovered: Interviews with Alcoholic Women

In this episode of Recovered, we talk to Stacie G, a "seven times Maggie's Girl." Stacie started off as a very moderate drinker and started drinking originally to cope with a divorce and the nerves of dating again. She quickly found herself unable to control her drinking and passing into the state of full blown alcoholism. Stacie talks openly about struggling with the delusion of her drinking and what it took for her to finally concede to her innermost self that she really is powerless over alcohol. Stacie is happily married today and has rebuilt the relationship with her father and her children, but it was a long road to get there.
