337. Kat Pendergast and Lacie Brueckner :: Helping Children Cope with the Loss of a Pet

Kat Pendergast is a children's author and founder of Kat's Socks, a line of soft sole baby shoes and other products.  Lacie Brueckner has been a funeral director since 2005 and takes special interest in meeting the needs of children during the funeral process.  Together they authored the book, "Goodbye, Bella: A Pet Loss Story," which acts as a guide for children (and parents) to prepare for and cope with the loss of a pet.
