Al Mackenzie started DJing in the late 80's and running his own parties in the early 90's. While resident DJ at Danny Rampling's Pure, he formed a musical partnership with Peter Cunnah, which led to the formation of chart topping band D:ream. High profile remixes and DJing at the world's top clubs soon followed.Al's Retroforward night in Birmingham, constantly sells out, as it features the cream of electronic music guesting. The next event is on August 17th, with guest Sean Johnston. His Field of Dreams project with Chris Kentish has been met with global acclaim, their mix of Les Crocodiles, being a staple with ALFOS. Their "Nothing Is Perfect" EP sold out in two weeks and two more Eps have followed. Their next vinyl release, "Sultan" by KaaN arrives in July.
