34-Historic Delano District

Before Delano was a part of Wichita - it was the center of lawlessness on the Chisholm Trail. Cowboys would come to bathe nude, participate in drinking and gambling, and get themselves into gun fights. Eventually Wichita couldn't turn a blind eye any longer and incorporated Delano or West Wichita into the city.
