Lars raced 2024 Ironman Hamburg finishing 1st overall with a time of 7:50:42! And over 5 minutes ahead of 2nd place, in a truly incredible performance!Lars lives and trains in Germany and shares everything from his athletic background to the balance of being a parent, husband, employee, and triathlete. While his path and training schedule may be a bit unique, there's no denying the incredible talent and determination he has.Interestingly, Lars did not accept his Kona slot at Ironman Hamburg, but decided to race Ironman Frankfurt where he finished 2nd overall and did take his slot for 2024 Ironman World Championships in Kona.
