#34 - Marilee Hume
from WFPC Podcasting · host WFPC Podcasting
One of the mainstays around Winslow for the last hundred years, and usually we use that term loosely, but in this case is not an exaggeration, is Marilee Hume. Marilee was born in 1926! She and her husband Ernie were two of my first friends when I pulled into Pike County! In fact, I interviewed her dad, John Russ on WFPC Radio in 1988 for Veterans Day because he was the last surviving WWI veteran. She carries on that tradition, she is our guest today and we have a lot to discuss! Thanks for joining us for this program of WFPC Podcasting! The program is brought to you by Harris Real Estate, Hathaway Excavating and Rock Yard and Petersburg Car Wash. Please like the podcast and share with your friends so more people can hear about WFPC. You may find WFPC podcasting on our website, Spotify, Youtube, Apple Podcasts and wherever you listen to your favorite media! Join us next Friday for another WFPC podcast exploring the people, information and news right here in Pike County. See you next week.
