Bruce Lee faced a significant obstacle when trying to break into the American film industry in the early 1960s, encountering racism and skepticism from Hollywood producers who doubted an Asian actor could be a leading man. Despite repeated rejections, Lee persevered, developing his unique style and philosophy, and eventually landed a role in the TV series "The Green Hornet" (1966-1967). However, it was his lead role in the Hong Kong-produced film "The Big Boss" (1971) that brought him success, followed by "Fist of Fury" (1972) and "Way of the Dragon" (1972). His biggest win came with the release of "Enter the Dragon" (1973), a martial arts film co-produced with Warner Bros. and Golden Harvest, which cemented his status as a global superstar and paved the way for future generations of Asian actors and martial artists in Hollywood, marking a triumphant overcome of the obstacles and biases he faced.
