34: The Christmas One 2018: Christmas Evil (Andy vs Mitch)

Ho Ho Ho! Good morning and welcome to EPISODE 34, our last episode of 2018! Massive thanks to all listeners and guests who have made our first 8 months much better than we could've hoped. His chosen film? Christmas Evil! Coming four years before Silent Night, Deadly Night caused a moral outrage for doing, pretty much the same thing, but in a more grisly way, Christmas Evil (a.k.a. You Better Watch Out) is an interesting little character study that follows one man's descent into madness. Think Falling Down in a Santa suit.  Christmas Evil is currently available on Shudder. You might enjoy it!  The synopsis is as follows:  A toy-maker who revels in the Christmas spirit suffers a mental break when his work is met with hypocrisy and cynicism and goes on a yuletide killing spree.
