from The Jewish Mind · host Rabbi Avrohom Lipszyc

When Moses went to up Mount Sinai to Heaven, the angels asked G-d why a human was among them. G-d answered to the angels that Moses had come to receive the Torah in order to bring it down to the Jewish people. The angels were in an uproar! "Why G-d are you giving your perfect holy Torah to the imperfect human being?! Give Your glory in the Heaven (to the angels)," the angel cried G-d told Moses to answer them, and Moses did. Moses' answer went over so well, that the angels immediately admitted that the Torah is meant to be given to the physical human being, and not to the spiritual angel. What was Moses' answer to them? More importantly, how does Moses' answer give is strength during our hardest and darkest times of our life?
