#35. Bill Huizer (AKA Mr. Huizer Jr.)

DEEKAST #35 St. Catharines Collegiate and Sir Winston Churchill high school students will tell you Bill Huizer is a legend of a teacher. He is also referred to as Mr. Huizer Jr. out of respect for and so not to be confused with Mr. Huizer Sr. Mr. Huizer Jr taught me english in gr 11 and 12. He also teaches math. I asked him about the goods and bads of the Ontario education system. Doesn't all that memorization and testing numb our brains or something? Mr. Huizer Jr lets us know, and cautions us about using Ted Talks as a magic pill for education.
