35: Blade (1998) Disucssion!

Put on your finest leather and let's head to the Blooodbath club because this week we're discussing BLADE! A Marvel film before Marvel films were all we could watch, we talk about the direction comic book movies COULD have gone if they'd leaned into Blade instead of X Men! We play a game of 'sh*t or salvation' as we look at writer David S Goyer's eclectic writing credits, we discuss the film's superb action scenes, some very weird-90's-movie moments (ie. Pearl the obese vampire) and the various times humans get thrown impossible distances and how much 'La Magra' sound less like an ancient vampire and more like a teenage holiday destination! Plus all the usual nonsense!
