Easter Monday on the Welsh coast, and a pocket of seaside bhakti, full hearts and sandy shoes. Fasting, nachos, rescued lambs, and chants by the sea at Porthdinllaen.A slow, joy-soaked wander with Mark and Maria, greeting the day, laughing at our own quirks, and bowing to the quiet presence that feeds the heart. We circle Mount Snowden in the rain, then land in sun by a tiny harbor. Pub grub appears like a miracle, vegetarian chili and nachos piled high. We laugh, we chant, we wobble from the fast, and we talk about why hunger can open the heart to those who do not choose it. Spiritual food, divine nectar, the sweet Name, all of it.Two baby sheep get stuck on the wrong side of a fence. We wait with them, call the farmer, and watch the reunion. Small mercy, big joy. Back to the beach, back to the mantra, back to the breath. Rebirth is real, in body and in spirit.
