35 Foundational Series: There is no difference

In this episode Dr. Alex will talk about "There is no difference" This episode of Cutting Edge is part of a foundational series that we will be featuring. Though some people try to deny it, there are objective realities in the universe, realities such as gravity and the existence of God that apply to everyone. Most people believe in God, but a lot of them misunderstand His character, believing what religions teach about Him. Many religions teach that if you do good, you are good, and if you do bad, you are bad, and based on these classifications, you will be rewarded or punished. However, God’s system is not about right and wrong because He is incapable of anything but love, and His grace is always abundantly available. There is no difference between doing good or doing bad in the scheme of things if you are living under grace. Ultimately, why you do things – good or bad – relates to your identity and where you draw your identity from. If you are in right relationship with God, it doesn’t matter what you do. All you have to do is respond to the love of God and accept His gift of grace. You will find that sometimes you are supposed to do things wrong so that you will learn a lesson that you couldn’t have learned if you did that thing the right way. Once you understand that God is the owner of your life, you will stop trying so hard in your own strength and reprogram/deprogram to live in the present moment. You need to seriously determine what you really believe. Your answer will either lead you down the path of love or the path of fear.
