35. How SEO Can Increase Your Art Profits with Chelsea Cardoza

This week’s episode features ecommerce expert, Chelsea Cardoza. You might recognize this last name since Chelsea’s husband, Justin Cardoza, was on a recent podcast episode talking all about his life as a cinematographer. Chelsea is the online marketer behind the scenes of their new company ModBox so she knows all things SEO and Google adds. In this episode she breaks it down for us and explains how we can use these online marketing tools to benefit our art business. I think of Google as a step up from social media. It’s a whole new world but it doesn’t have to be a scary one and can really be super profitable once you get the hang of it. Chelsea actually got me really excited to test out a variety of different adds including YouTube so I’ll report back soon on how that goes. I don’t think adds are a technique for an artist who is just starting out but even if that’s you, I would still advise listening in so you’re prepared for the next step up in your art business when it does come time.
